Certain shots/ encounters during the project

As stated In the last post, this production process was no joke but we all had fun doing it. It took almost 2 weeks to finish since there was conflict in our group. We decided to put all that to the side, and start getting this work done. Then we realized that this was fairly easy to film and did not even take 3 days to film. With the help of the story board, finding out the camera shots was really easy to use. We used shots such as medium shots, close up shots, extreme close up, and high angle shots to show meaning in our clips. There were many difficulties during production and even throughout this whole entire project. Some of the difficulties can include, the clips deleting, people forgetting their lines, redoing the script. I think the most difficult part was probably when the people who were assigned to do certain things did not do them. For example, I gave a group member who was on the verge of getting kicked out a VERY important task, and she did not deliver until last minute. We were all in distress wondering if she would come through or fold under pressure. So we waited, waited, and waited, and still there was nothing. We were worried and angry to the T but I decided to have faith in my teammates and hope and hope that she will prevail. This Wednesday morning, on March 17th, 2021, I got to see the final product. I was extremely impressed and proud of what the team I am in has accomplished

Storyboard

This was easily the most easy but difficult assignment that we have had. Since one of our group members left our group, there was a little bit of conflict during the time we had the assignment. With Kayla and my great thinking plus Adonai's creativity, we created a master piece. I gave the format and specifically what we were going to do, and Adonai successfully carried out that plan. This was difficult since we started so late, but we still got it done. This is what we have came up with

Case study

This case study was a rough and vigorous task since it was very hard to retain information. The 5 parts of the case study (History/target audience, production, distribution,  marketing, cross media convergence and synergy) all of these parts make up a case study. How did I do this? Well first you get the film of your choice that relates to the genre you are doing, I chose the classic film "Mean girls" After that you start dong research on all 5 of those topics. You may be able to find a couple blogs relating on how to do and find these very few parts. But make sure your websites are credential and legit. You do not want to be using websites such as Wikipedia to gain information. This websites information can be altered by anyone who chooses to do so. Once I retained all the information from my research, I started to form my case study. You can either do a power point, word document, or a video. I chose to do a PowerPoint since it is easier to divide those 5 topics. Then you ...

Film pitch

This film pitch I made was fun and very helpful. When you want to pitch your movie idea to a production company, these questions can help  you succeed in you doing that.  Answer the following questions and others, as applicable: ·          What production company are you pitching to? Establish this first so that we know what perspective to consider your film from. ·          What is the title of your film? ·          What is the basic synopsis of your film? (Keep this short – 60 seconds or less.) ·          Why do you think this production company would be a good fit to make your film? o    What films has the company made that are similar to yours? o    Does the “brand” of your film align with some of the other films this company has made? o    Can this company secure th...
