Case study

 This case study was a rough and vigorous task since it was very hard to retain information. The 5 parts of the case study (History/target audience, production, distribution,  marketing, cross media convergence and synergy) all of these parts make up a case study. How did I do this? Well first you get the film of your choice that relates to the genre you are doing, I chose the classic film "Mean girls" After that you start dong research on all 5 of those topics. You may be able to find a couple blogs relating on how to do and find these very few parts. But make sure your websites are credential and legit. You do not want to be using websites such as Wikipedia to gain information. This websites information can be altered by anyone who chooses to do so. Once I retained all the information from my research, I started to form my case study. You can either do a power point, word document, or a video. I chose to do a PowerPoint since it is easier to divide those 5 topics. Then you put all your information in, then you are finished. This is what my case study looked like

 Say if me and my team are successful in convincing the production company of your choice to endorse your film. But how can you " sell" you film and make back everyone's money plus a little bit more. This is a great question to ask yourself. Well first you have to start promoting your film, you can not just drop a film without promoting . No one will know about your film if you do not promote it. The way Netflix promotes things is very unique. Say they are trying to promote a new movie coming out soon, they will put it on every single platform they can. Platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and even Spotify. And you see or hear that ad every single time you open one of those platforms and eventually give in. With all of this promoting I am 100 percent certain that people would want to see it and share with friends and family.
